Southside Hit and Run Chicago Car Accident Injures Four

Four Chicago teens suffered injuries earlier this week when they were involved in a hit and run car accident on city’s Southeast side. The Chicago car accident occurred at 2:33 a.m. near the corner of West 115th St. and South Torrence Avenue according to South Chicago police. According to reports, a 2001 Pontiac Montana minivan was northbound on Torrance around 2:30 a.m. when it was struck by a second vehicle. The force of the collision caused the minivan to lose control and spin out eventually colliding with a light pole. The other vehicle fled the scene of the Chicago car crash and no description of that vehicle is presently available.

The Chicago Fire Department has reported that four individuals were injured as a result of the Chicago car crash. Two of the victims were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, IL, while two others were rushed to John Stroger Jr. Hospital. All of the accident victims were listed in serious to critical condition. One of the accident victims, a 14 year old boy that was a passenger in the rear of the van, was listed in critical condition. The three other teen car accident victims have been stabilized according to local hospitals. The car accident is still being investigated by Chicago Police.
