A very serious Chicago car accident resulted in two severe injuries yesterday morning on Chicago’s Northwest side. The car crash occurred at the corner of North Devon Ave. and West Nagle Ave. around 5:30 a.m. According to Police News Affairs Officer Robert Perez, a white delivery truck which was registered to Michele Baking Co. was left upside down following the crash. Michele Baking Co. is located at 3140 Mannheim Rd. in Franklin Park, IL. Information related to other vehicles involved in the crash has not been released.
Fire Media Affairs spokesman Joe Roccasalva reports that two people were taken to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL, in critical condition following the crash. One of the victims is reportedly a pregnant woman. The Chicago Police Major Accident Investigations Unit is investigating the Chicago car wreck.
