A deadly Chicago car accident left one dead and one seriously injured yesterday around 3:00 a.m. The fatal car crash occurred on Chicago’s Eisenhower Expressway (I-290) near South Kostner Avenue. According to Illinois State Police, the accident occurred when a 25 year old driver drove off the expressway and into a tree. The driver died in the crash while a 28 year old female passenger was taken to John H. Stroger Hospital of Cook County. The female passenger reportedly suffered two broken legs as well as head injuries. Alcohol is suspected to have played a role in the car crash. The car accident is still under investigation.
